The long boring train ride to Chicago ![]() moblog 9:47 AM
Where's all the beautiful scenery? ![]() If you've ever taken Amtrak you know that you see the "backside" of America. Boring corn fields, ghetto style houses, junkyards, you name it. It's American at it's finest. If it wasn't so cheap to hop the train to Chicago, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. But at $32 roundtrip for an adult and $16 roundtrip for a child - you can't beat it. Toss in a 4 star hotel on N. Michigan Avenue at $45 a night via Priceline.com and it's a totally unbeatable deal. moblog 9:42 AM
