Our day will begin with the usual Theme Park adventure. (Wanna take a wild guess where?)
Then we'll head to downtown Louisville for Thunder Over Louisville, which represents the official kick-off to the Kentucky Derby! Good luck finding a hotel room over the next two weeks in Louisville! It ain't gonna happen.
The grand finale tonight will end in an fabulous fire works display off of the Second Street bridge. This fireworks display is the number one of all events in the United States!

Did I mention it's going to be 83 degress today? YES!!!

We'll be posting via audio and photos throughout the day :) Why? Because we can!

OUR NEW 2004 TOYOTA COROLLA 

Look what we got today! I'm SO happy.

We have been car-less for a while now. My old car died a long painful death, and we've been renting cheap cars on the weekends via Enterprise. (They have $9.95 a day weekend specials!).

I was going to buy just something used, older and cheap.. but I just don't want my kids in an unsafe vehicle. I also have fears of the car breaking down, and I just couldn't do it. After some shopping around I came to two conclusions, Honda or Toyota. The winner was Toyota, they gave us a great deal, had a great rebate and the saleman was wonderful.

Thanks to the help of my mom (I LOVE YOU MOM!) she got me a great deal on the car! She's a pro at negotiating! Even the salesman told her she was good lol. I'm the proud owner of a very pretty silver 2004 Toyota Corolla. It's not the top of the line, and it's definitely the economy model, but I'm just thankful to have a new car. Of course, I'll be paying for it for the next 5 years but it's worth it to me.
